Amp gauge will work fine. It has nothing to do with voltage. You will get mixed answers on fuel gauge. Some guys say they did nothing and there 6v gauge runs fine on 12v but most don't have that experience. I chose to replace it with a 12v gauge. Most will just get a resistor to step down from 12v to 6v. Obviously oil pressure gauge is not impacted.
