Although it doesn't clearly say it, the lower 2 bolts that hold the transmission to the bell housing are accessed by removing the bell housing under panel. The bolts actually are installed from the bell housing side into the transmission case from front to back of the vehicle.

Would definitely recommend you install the noted "pins" in the top mounting holes to support the weight of the transmission while you remove the lower bolts, then slide the transmission back off the pins to remove.

DAN thanks i was able to remove the trans yesterday, took off the cover and removed the bolts, had to remove the shifter to slide back the trans
