I tried to get my work in progress running, which I haven't done in a few months. New battery, 12 volts to the stomp starter. Yesterday, the engine turned over a few times then suddenly nothing happened when I pressed the starter. Today, when I turned the ignition switch on it briefly moved the gas gauge then went off again. The headlight won't turn on either. I'm thinking the switch may be bad? That, and the wiring, is original to the truck as far as I can tell. An electrician I am not! Any ideas?
