327amc,

Click on THIS LINK to read up on the many details about both your 3100 and the 3600 straight from the GM Heritage Archives.

This document can provide you a whole bunch of useful information to learn about your truck. There are also a great number of other references in our own Stovebolt Tech Tips that you can read about various topics on your truck, as well as other sources outside of Stovebolt which folks will share as you begin asking more detailed questions about your truck and the things you need help with.

One of the best suggestions I can offer is to ask more detailed specific questions (instead of an overall general topic) with posts in the Shop Area Forum where the topic best fits. This helps reduce confusion and redundant topics/questions and allows folks to provide you better specific answers and help.

Take some time and read through this resource and peruse the various Tech Tips and forums to get a little more familiar with the site. Then come back and ask away.

Once again, Welcome to Stovebolt!

Dan
