I've seen this problem happen right after a new clutch was installed because the alleged "mechanic" let the weight of the transmission hang on the clutch disc spline as he stabbed the transmission, and bent the center of the disc. That causes the disc to wobble when the pedal is depressed and drag against the flywheel. No, the problem won't correct itself with use!
