The "zero pressure" radiators with a canister on the top tank that resembles a tuna fish can have a "one way" relief valve- - - -I don't believe they will siphon coolant back into the radiator from a catch can. The fill cap on that type of radiator seals tight- - - -it has no springs, siphon valves, or pressure relief valves. If you install a pressure type radiator where a zero pressure system once was, don't forget to also upgrade the heater core.
