I think I had two at one time, although one may have been a 12v. Will look in the attic next time I can. You can convert 12 to 6v, but it is a real process if you're talking about rewiring the armature. Best to use a 12v to 6v step-down adapter like this one: https://tinyurl.com/3w9ft2w8
