To clear up my thought, I'm thinking on the seat riser, in the middle and visible in the cab, not under the seat cushion. I've seen others mounted on the inner cowl, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.
I understood you. That seat riser thing might be the best of all locations.
The under seat cushion option was my own, separate, musing.
I don’t know if what I’m about to suggest is even possible or feasible. Has anyone looked into filling a vintage/period extinguisher with whatever the modern rated material would be? Probably not something I would invest the effort into. Just curious.
