This can be done on a button for button basis with the radio out and disassembled so you aren’t pulling from a complete radio in dash situation
But it’s the same force
I usually take the radio completely apart on the bench before I attempt to pull the knobs so that I can put a clamp behind each and slowly pry each off in a controlled way | | |
