I had to cut all the bolts holding the bumper and supporting frame to get mine out. It was broke in a couple places and welded over. I'm going to go with a painted bumper on mine also.
I got a license plate bracket from Classic Parts that includes a light that fits where that cut out in the bumper goes. I'll post a picture when I get home tonight.
