I am wondering whether all of this is the result of me converting to a 12 volt flywheel?
Were the 6 volt flywheels considerably thicker?? I could not find a viable 6v flywheel- every single one I found was toast, just like mine, so I converted to 12v when I found a really nice 12v flywheel.
