Thank you to the moderators for allowing me in. I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge that you all contribute on these pages.
I have a farm truck to shop truck, project that is well along now. I drive it most days to the woodshop I run, serving generally the old-house restoration community here in Southern California. The truck runs really well. It has a 235 from a '59 car in it that appears to have been there a loooong time. (So I have
a post in the Swap Meet looking for a '58 truck block.)
The truck has the original 3-speed tranny, which was one of my mistakes. It drives just exactly as it should, but that is challenging on busy city streets around here. (So I'll be looking around for a T5 to put in there --
just posted in Swap Meet also.) There are a bunch of other things I hope to do, and all of them would be much harder without the skills and knowledge of those on this forum. Once again, thank you.
