Due to the spacing of the three dowel pins and the bolt holes, it's impossible to install the flywheel in the wrong position. It only bolts on one way regardless of the position of the pistons. BTW, the dowel pins are aligned exactly with the position of the three pairs of companion cylinders on the crankshaft. That can't be an accident!
