We took the delete plate off when we painted the cab. I think we either broke the clips or lost them in the process. I drilled two holes in the plate and installed it with two cad plated screws. Used large washer and lock nut behind the dash.
(In my collection, I had some AN525 washer head screws that worked nicely)
