I found the remains of a '46 Chevy 8PP-B 1101, 109"in. wheelbase COE today. In the woods, in a town about 20 miles from me. Truck has been sitting in the woods since 1956. The property belongs to a Factory in this town, & they say it's been there since before the Factory was built.I inquired about it, & they said I could have it, but it's too far gone to even think about removing it from its resting place( no rear axle, front axle, but no wheels, all glass busted tree limb damage to top, several shotgun blast to doors, hood damaged by falling tree limbs). I did remove the only grille stainlees left(2 pieces), & to my amazement, the step pad rubber was all there, so I got both of them. Too bad, I couldn't have found it 20 years ago, may have been able to salvage more.
