One more unsolicited opinion. My 54 is on the original frame but is lowered by a Pacer front-end and modified rear springs.

Fibonachu, I sure will. Truck has 5 feet of snow on it now with 1-2 more coming in next 2 days so might be until spring hits a bit. I’m going to leave the 4.3 in for now. It runs and drives just fine but not going to win a race! Went to the old Jalopy Jungle in Nampa and picked up a rearend from a 99 4wd blazer 3.73 gears and disc brakes and an older column and pedals that Ed said I’ll need for the swap. I’ll get a tune up on it and oil change and get it running smooth before the swap.
