If you are getting fuel to the carburetor, press the starter without turning the ignition key to get fuel into the carburetor. Once you've done this for 10 seconds or so (enough to fill the fuel bowl), look down inside the carburetor throat with the engine off and work the throttle manually. You should see fuel squirting into the carburetor. If you don't, the accelerator pump is bad and the carburetor should be rebuilt.
