The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop Underside of cab paint?

I just read an article in "Old Cars" magazine written by a show judge and he said that one of the first things he looks at is the underside of the cab to see if it is painted black, which was not original. I'm going original as much as possible. It appears that the underside of my cab may not have been painted at all in the middle (there is recently applied undercoating on the sides).

I would appreciate any advice.
