He went out of his way to make sure he had the part I needed, and I got a very good manifold, media blasted, and ready to go. Kinda expensive, but, they had what they said they had,and delivered, unlike other vendors...not to mention any names, (Mac@ Classic Auto)
An update on the truck...I've got the front end off the truck, preparing to pull the motor. Mama got me an engine stand for Christmas, and I'm going to go through the motor this winter.
I've been working on the brake system lately, since our weather is so warm. Doing one wheel at a time, replacing cylinders, lines, etc. I think I will rebuild or replace the hydrovac too.
And saving for some tires $$$
It's been a blast working on the old truck, the best therapy a guy could get! Also I now have "Stovebolt eyes". I spot them everywhere I go, and check them out. I've got a line on a 67 1 ton...we will see.
