As Wheelie has pointed out, the top is only a thin cover. If the piece your talking about “supporting the engine weight”, it the next one down and is about 1/8” thick. Unfortunately, if that is the part you need, I couldn’t find it on line. You could post an ad in “Truck Parts Wanted” or fab one as you originally wanted to. Good luck!
