to hot wire it just have two lengths or wire with alligator clips on each end for the one it just to needs to be like a foot clip it on negative side of coil and clip it to the block (just so you know for sure you have ground) and the other one be long enough to reach from the battery to the positive side of the coil dump some go go juice down the carb and give er a crank chances are if it still has the grain in the bed i'd be ya he left the gas in there to so any money says its all varnished up if its been sitting for a long period of time and it when it comes time to shut it off just pull the positive alligator clip off the battery
