I've looked at my COE versions, and it appears to be the tightness of the bolt running thru as a pin (if that is factory). Essentially it tightens it up against the door portion of the hinge. They don't move, but then again, there looks to be a significant amount of surface rust on em helping out. How fast you going in that thing anyway? smile
