The second pump you have pictured will not work on my 1962 235. Even if you use longer bolts the spread is not the same and the pump lever is not the same. I was told the 40217# was a Airtex and the 4434# was a AC, I have one of each now, one bad one good, they use different rebuild kits. I previously used Ethanol in my truck, that's probably what undid my pump.
