After countless hours on the DA, hammer and dolly, phosphoric acid and muratic acid treatments, we reluctantly sprayed it today with rust encapsulater. It was not the route I wanted to go, but I was losing the battle on some of the rust spots and the goal is to avoid rust down the road.
I will hit the panel with 180 then 320 and prime with a PPG black epoxy primer to seal it up for good. The plan it to skim coat with Rage Ultra to fill the pits and other dings and use the black epoxy as the signal to go light on the block sanding.
