I guess I’m a bit bumfuzzled as to why this thread ended up in the HiPo Shop. Modifying a transmission mount to install a stock (maybe not to your truck) but nevertheless stock is not, in my opinion, a High Performance modification. Instead of bumping this thread all over the board we can certainly leave it right here for further discussion if needed. It sounds like you have made a plan and are capable of reaching your goal. Edit: I see that you are changing the rear end to a Ferd, therefore the move to HiPo is appropriate.
