Welcome to the ‘bolt! Wow, 60 years in the family, I bet that created some fond memories.
I looked at your Project Journal and see that you plan on replacing that old 216 with a 235 from a 58 Biscayne. I have a ‘59 235 in my ‘52 so it will be the exact swap. That engine sill be a great upgrade for your truck. You’ll be going from 90 HP to 145. When you are ready, I and our fellow ‘bolters, can help with this swap.
