I have to agree with Jerry. I had some rust in that spot as well, but nowhere near that bad. The blaster called it "structural rust" meaning it had weakened the structure. I did some repairs to mine, but wouldn't attempt it on that one.
It could be repaired, but it would be time consuming expensive, and the strength would be questionable. It would probably look like crap too.
