Be prepared to pay for those 409 and 348 parts.
A friend of mine is working on one in his 64 car.
He has found it is good to know all the differences between the two. If you have a 409, knowing the parts that are the same as a 348, ask for the 348 parts, they are often cheaper. Apparently people think if you have a 409 you have money, and if you pretend to have a 348 it helps save some.
