On my 1957 short bed step side, I am assembling the steps to the rear fender and the frame. In the factory assembly manual there is a brace shown that is similar to the three fender to bed side braces. It’s threaded on the frame end. I don’t have that piece, and I don’t see it in any of the pictures I took when taking it apart. Did the 1957 models use that brace?
