Dale in Iowa Member D Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 39 IOWA	According to the military Chevy and GMC sites, these trucks came with 6:16 or the taller (higher gears of 5:43. I think I'll leave Cloey as is, a crawler, so I don't have to change to a higher RPM engine like the 261. I don't belive the 235 babbitt engine would care much for added RPMs. Am I thinking right? Cloey, my 1942 Chevy 1.5-ton 4 x 4 Fire truck
