The first battery I had in it lasted about 5 years. I start it and let run to charge at least once a week . I've never put a battery tender on it. I noticed the warranty on the Interstate battery was only 6 months. I just got a Duracell battery from Batteries and Bulbs and it has a year warranty and is made in USA and cheaper. The wait for a Interstate battery was going to be 3 weeks. This tells me it must be coming from China! Big companies just can't resist $$$ they make from buying from the Chinese!
