Richard - look around at good specialty rear end repair places - there's a place up here in Van BC called Rear Ends Only that has 338 gears for the TF rear in stock, as well as the original 390's - talked to'em a while back, and the prices for the 338 are the same as the 390! I'd bet there's someplace in FL similar
the other possibility is to find an original overdrive trans for the TF, which will give ya the highway speed at lower rpms, but still give the low speed pull these trucks do so well
