Greg 46 Nothing wrong with a splasher,just had my 51 3600 splasher running. Is a tough piece just important not to overspeed them,once you damage the dippers then they damage the pan dipper channels ugh !! Put rings in mine in 82 shimmed the rods been fine since. An old mechanic told me how to light tap those rod bearings,then he laughed and said oh if you get 10 or 12 pound of oil pressure...your doin' good. Guess he was right it hasen't been stamped into little toyota's yet !!
