Went to KC gabfest on sept 16th. Helped gobble down an evening meal with Wayne Alderson. Then toured his body shop and saw his line-up of restored rolling stock. Was a great visit. Lots of nice paint work. Thanks Wayne !!
Then on Saturday went to Mongo's garage for the day. It is a tremendous stash of trucks, parts, gabfest, tour, schools, demonstrations. Was a 859 mile round trip for me. Landed in bed at 10 PM. Had to leave a little early to try to clear St Louis before dark (was dark but cleared it OK).
Thanks Steve for the tour and hosting gabfest. His neighbors were great in pointing me to his place !!
