The one ton box front is different than the lighter trucks
There is a re-enforcement rib in the center
And all the bed bolts go through the bottom lip and capture all the metal strips unlike the 1/2 and 3/4 ton
There are posts on this topic someplace and I recall putting some photos in it with the discussion about the differences.
