I went by the place again this past Wednesday. I did catch one of the two brothers in the office, which is the old store on the corner filled with signs and gas pumps. I stepped in and spoke to him for a few minutes. After asking if an auction might be in their future plans, his reaction and answer sort of indicated that a sale is not in the plans and definitely does not seem to be a high priority right now. The two brothers are the only ones running the business now and it keeps them really busy. He did say that many years ago, there was 10 people involved in running the business. After just a few minutes talking with him, a gentleman that works for him walked in and they started discussing a truck mechanical issue that needed attention, so I didn't stick around to hold up their progress. It's sad to think that many of those trucks will likely become rusted ruins instead of getting brought back to life and put to some enjoyable use!
