It was from a 1984 (i think) Chevy C60 with a 427 tall deck. It is definitely a NP542GL, it is stamped on the id tag. 7.33 ratio-must be first gear, that is why i'm guessing its not an OD tranny. they usually had something more in the 6.00 or less range for 1st.
