Does anyone have figures for the height from flywheel surface to top of the clutch cover for a 6-bolt, 11 inch diapharam clutch and the same measurments for a 9-bolt, 10-3/4 in. clutch cover. I'm trying to discover if I can drill a 9-bolt flywheel to take a 6-bolt clutch. I'm concerned the 6-bolt might not fit in the early bell housing as Chevrolet changed bell housings at the same time they changed clutches and flywheels.
