Looking to replace the window channel on both doors on my 1950 Chevy 3800 series. No fabric left on either after all these years so what is visible is the so called corrugated metal. It appears that there is a staple or something holding them to the door about every 6" give or take. Will these be difficult to remove from the doors, are they just yanked out? Are the new replacements also secured in a similar way? I'm also assuming the new ones will need to be cut to length and bent to the proper shape. Any info. or suggestion, or advice on doing this job is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
