on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 86 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 86 | I just noticed today, after hosing years of accumulated dust, that my recently acquired '54 6400 has a sticker on the block that says "remanufactured engine". It has a serial number but not much else. If someone were to remaufacture a 235 what could I expect as far as what was done to the engine. ( bored out, etc.) the odometer show 87k but who knows if that's for real. She is also set up for propane with what looks to be a solenoid on the gasoline inlet to the carb. Should I get her running with gasoline or try propane first?
