| | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 892 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 892 | Does anyone know of a supplier for new flywheels for the 12 volt 235 engines and have a good part number? I now have 2 flywheels that don't fit, both from Perfection clutch. One unit I got from Summit Racing and it fits some SBC V8 (matches one I have in the shop that came attached to a SM465 transmission and v8 bellhousing). The other I got from Rock Auto and I have no idea what it actually fits. In both instances the on-line application information lists Chevrolet 235, 55-62 and with a 12 inch clutch. One part number is 50-6550 fits ? the other is 50-6504 and fits some SBC or other. Again 12"clutch. I''m trying to get away from the 9 bolt clutch on the 6V flywheel.
