Is there an Engine Serial Number that was stamped into to block in the "ledge" to the rear of where the distributor goes into the block? If it has not been ground-off or changed, it should help to ID the year of the engine. location of 1953 and earlier engine codeslocation of 1954 and later engine codes | | |
