Buy it when you see it. I relearned that lesson this last weekend. I was at the Pate Swap Meet in Fort Worth and found a vendor who had a 15" reproduction of the 49-53 steering wheel. It was late, I was tired, and my space was on the other side of the meet. I didn't want to carry it around while I finished shopping. I decided to come back next morning. I got there at 10:15, just in time to see some dude walking off with the last two the vendor had. The vendor didn't think he would get them again, as he had bought the last six from a distributor who had discontinued them. So, if you've made it through my whining, here's my question.
Does anyone know where these came from?
Has anyone else seen them?
Do you know of any vendors who have them?
Tangent -- back when I worked in industry, I was chided that we were supposed to call them "suppliers", because vendors were the guys who sold hot dogs at the ball park. So apologize to anyone who takes offense -- none intended.
