| | | Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 79 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 79 | Trying to build a 1949 3100 putting in a 235 got a bellhousing with the truck. My problem I don't know if , it's a car or truck . I found out the bolt pattern is different. What I have looks like 8 3/8" center to center on the top holes and 9 1/8" on the botttom .I'm talking about looking for a 3 speed transmission . What case number would indicate a truck transmission ? Or what are the measurment for a truck transmission ? Thanks | | |
