Tomorrow I am going to meet someone who has a '54 3100 series which has been sitting since 2003. He wants to restore it but first wants to get it back up and running. What is the best priority list for him to follow. Yes, change all fluids, check brakes, etc. I'm concerned about having new oil at the valve train when he cranks the motor over for the first time. Yes for turning the motor over by hand just to make sure nothing is bound up. So, if someone has a basic TODO list of what to look at, change, etc, that would be very helpful.
