Just bought my truck a month ago. Made me feel like a kid again. It brought back alote of good memories. Then I found The Stovebolt Page. Its like I landed in a playground with a whole bunch of others kids playing with there trucks.
My problem is tires I'm not sure of the size or what to replace them with.
I have a 1959 chevy flat bed with dual wheels. its a 4100 series 172 in. wheel base.
The front tires are 8-19.5 8 ply.
the wheel is 5 bolt but has 10 holes
the rear tires are 22.5 6 bolt
the rear tires was made by goodrich for U-Haul.
what i need to know is what size tire do I need to replace them none of the tire stores ive called know.
I could not find anything for big trucks till I foung Stovebolt and Mikes Garage.
one other thing what is.
Flat Face Cowl Chassis, Cab Chassis, Stake & W/S Cowl Chassis.
