I have a 1961 year 235 cubic inch motor. Does all the oil go through the filter and then on to lubricate the motor, OR, does only a small part of it go through the filter and then back to the oil pan, with the motor being lubricated with oil directly from the pan. I have been worrying about getting the proper filter for the motor to be sure I don't starve it of oil. If the oil goes from the filter back to the pan, then it's not such a big deal since there would be plenty of oil for the motor. Thanks Allen
