Carter Carburetor went out of business a long time ago.
The new parts available to us today may be designed in a way that they can also be used on other models.
Originally there was the Carter 1A-31 and 1A-41 flange gaskets used on a Carter YF, without a governor.
The difference is the bore diameter and the c-to-c mounting stud distance (in a nutshell, the smaller 216 or the larger 235/261).
