| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 | Improperly tightened U-bolts can lead to premature wear/breakage of the leaf springs. By not tightening per the specs you're allowing the spring to flex and crack at the centering bolt hole. Always torque then per the specs...check out this link for all you need to know about U-bolts.
