On my 40 there are no bolts on the cab/firewall that attach to the fender (that I remember). The inner fender liner bolts to the frame near the base of the cab and then to the fender. At the cab itself, the rear of the fender "buts" up to the triangle shape on the lower 1/4.
I don't have any good pictures of the radiator shroud but the fenders follow the arc of the shroud with 3 or 4 bolts (as I recall) and 1 bolt at the bottom lip of the apron.
